The People Behind Your Financial Education

At Zylkenbryth, we believe that understanding markets comes down to learning from people who've actually been there. Our team brings together decades of real trading experience, academic research, and a genuine passion for teaching others how financial markets actually work.

We're not here to promise you instant wealth or guaranteed returns. Instead, we focus on building solid foundations of knowledge that can serve you throughout your investment journey, whatever that might look like.

Meet Our Instructors

Each member of our team brings a unique perspective shaped by their own journey through different aspects of financial markets. From technical analysis to behavioral economics, our diverse backgrounds help create a more complete learning experience.

Kieran Blackthorne

Senior Market Analyst
Technical Analysis Risk Management Market Psychology

Kieran started his career in 2009, right after the financial crisis, which gave him a front-row seat to how quickly markets can change. He spent eight years working with institutional clients before realizing he was more passionate about education than execution.

His approach focuses heavily on understanding why certain patterns emerge in markets rather than just memorizing chart formations. Kieran particularly enjoys working with students who are naturally skeptical – he finds their questions often lead to the most interesting discussions about market behavior.

Dorian Ashworth

Trading Strategy Director
Options Strategies Portfolio Theory Quantitative Methods

Dorian's background is a bit unconventional – he actually started in software engineering before transitioning to finance in 2012. This technical background gives him a unique perspective on systematic approaches to trading and portfolio management.

He's particularly good at breaking down complex concepts into manageable pieces. Dorian often says that if you can't explain a trading concept to someone without using jargon, you probably don't understand it well enough yourself. His courses tend to focus on building logical frameworks rather than following rigid rules.

Our Teaching Philosophy

We've found that most people learn trading concepts best when they understand the reasoning behind different approaches rather than just memorizing strategies. That's why our courses spend considerable time exploring the psychology and market dynamics that drive different trading opportunities.

Every student brings different goals, risk tolerance, and time availability to their learning journey. Rather than pushing a one-size-fits-all approach, we focus on helping you develop the analytical skills to make your own informed decisions about what might work for your situation.

Our next comprehensive program launches in August 2025, designed for students who want to build a solid foundation in market analysis over a six-month period. We keep class sizes intentionally small to ensure everyone gets the attention they need to develop their understanding properly.
